Staff Engineer AUTOSAR Testing & Validation

Next-Gen Automotive Software | 4D LiDAR Platforms | Safety-Critical Systems

About the Role

Were building the software backbone for the next generation of autonomous sensing platforms where real-time systems, functional safety, and high-performance computing converge.

As a Staff Engineer AUTOSAR Testing, you will own the verification and validation strategy for Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR software stacks powering cutting-edge 4D LiDAR systems. Youll lead automation, compliance, integration testing, and quality excellence across safety-critical automotive platforms.

This is a high-impact technical leadership role at the intersection of embedded systems, security, CI/CD, and automotive standards.

What Youll Do

Lead AUTOSAR Testing at Scale

  • Architect and execute Adaptive AUTOSAR component validation across:
  • Communication stacks (SOME/IP, DoIP, SecOC, E2E)
  • Persistency services
  • Diagnostics and cryptography (ISO-21434)

Drive End-to-End Software Quality

  • Validate base software layers, network management, diagnostic services, and middleware stacks
  • Own system, integration, regression, performance, and security testing

Build World-Class Automation

  • Develop scalable automation using Python, C++, Vector tools (CANoe, CANoe.DiVa)
  • Integrate testing pipelines with Jenkins CI/CD orchestration
  • Containerize test frameworks using Docker & Kubernetes

Be a Technical Force Multiplier

  • Partner deeply with:
  • Firmware engineers
  • DSP/algorithm teams
  • QA and system architects
  • Translate complex system behaviors into robust test strategies

Own Compliance & Safety Excellence

  • Ensure software meets:
  • AUTOSAR standards
  • ISO 26262 functional safety
  • ASPICE process maturity
  • Automotive cybersecurity requirements

Mentor & Lead

  • Set technical direction for test engineering
  • Coach engineers on best practices in validation, automation, and debugging

What You Bring

Core Expertise

  • 10+ years in automotive embedded software testing & validation
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • Classic & Adaptive AUTOSAR architectures
  • Automotive communication protocols
  • Network management and diagnostics

Automation & Systems Skills

  • Strong in Python and C++
  • Expert in Vector toolchain (CANoe, CANoe.DiVa)
  • Hands-on with:
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira)
  • Testbeds, simulators, hardware-in-loop environments
  • Containerized testing infrastructure

Engineering Mindset

  • Excellent debugging & root-cause analysis skills
  • Able to break complex systems into clean test strategies and sprint-ready stories
  • Thrive in Agile, fast-iteration environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience across:
  • ADAS systems
  • Autonomous sensing platforms
  • Infotainment or EV software stacks
  • Requirements management tools (JAMA or similar)
