Job Description
Job Role: Automotive Software Integration Test Engineer
Work Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Bangalore
"We are scheduling Face-to-Face (F2F) Drives on 21st February in Bangalore"
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system integration and testing activities for vehicle controllers and software platforms
- Validate vehicle network functionality including LIN (ISO 17987-1), CAN (ISO 11898-1), and Ethernet/OA TC8 networks
- Support testing for distributed automotive systems following industry standards (e.g., ISTQB)
- Implement test automation using Python, CAPL, C/C++
- Collaborate with teams using configuration management and test tools (DOORS Next Generation, IBM RTC, Jira)
- Support integration across multiple platforms including Linux, AUTOSAR, Android, and QNX
- Participate in early-stage model-driven tests, functional mockups, and PoCs
- Assist in project execution for electrical architecture industrialization at sub-system and vehicle levels
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in systems engineering, vehicle network development, or industrialization
- Strong technical knowledge of E/E architecture, LIN, CAN networks, and basic Ethernet/SOME-IP protocols
- Experience with test automation using Python, CAPL, C, or C++
- Familiarity with agile test methods, tools, and process standards
