Job Description
Your RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Selenium, Cucumber, and REST Assured. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks for both UI and API testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments.Selenium WebDriver: Proficient in automating web applications using Selenium.Cucumber (BDD): Hands-on experience in writing feature files and step definitions using Gherkin syntax.REST Assured: Strong knowledge of API testing using REST Assured with Java.Java Programming: Solid understanding of Java for developing test scripts.TestNG/JUnit: Experience in test execution and reporting.Maven/Gradle: Familiarity with build tools for managing dependencies and test execution. Your ProfileDesign and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies.Write and execute automated test cases using BDD principles.Analyse test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiencyDesign and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies.Write and execute automated test cases using BDD principles.Analyse test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.CI/CD Tools: Experience integrating tests with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar pipelines.Version Control: Proficient in Git for code collaboration and versioning.Reporting Tools: Exposure to Allure, Extent Reports, or similar for test reporting.Database Testing: Basic SQL knowledge for validating backend data.Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and participation in sprint ceremonies.
