Job Description
TCS is Hiring for -Automation Tester
Experience : 5 to 10 years
Location : Bengaluru /Hyderabad /Chennai/Kochi
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
- Rest, SOAP, Graph QL, Postman, Rest Assured, Unit test, JavaTest NG, Junit,
- Candidate should have knowledge of full system life cycles.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools are required.
- Automated or manual testing experience in the web and client server environments.
- Has experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, use cases. Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting also required. Need experience in API, Postman testing and API Test automation
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Test application code components.
2 Participate in Solution Design
3 Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium
4 Debugging/defect resolution
5 (Optional) Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release
6 Provide insights and recommendations from past experience
7 Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell
