Job Description
Position: Automation Sales Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Automation Sales Engineer to promote and sell automation solutions including DCS, PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical products.
The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of industrial automation technologies with consultative sales skills to develop new business and support existing customers.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in: Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering
Experience & Skillset
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales or application of industrial automation products
- Strong knowledge of: PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, VFDs and Industrial communication protocols
- Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc. is preferred
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in industrial automation
- Promote a range of automation products and solutions including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication systems
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate automation solutions
- Maintain relationships with OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, and end users
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings for clients
