Automation QA Engineer II- Java

What Youll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for both UI and API layers.
• Use Java , Selenium , and REST Assured (or similar tools) to automate complex test scenarios.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, log defects, and collaborate with development and product teams to resolve issues.
• Enhance automation coverage and frameworks; explore modern techniques like AI/ML-based test selection and self-healing automation .
• Participate in Agile sprints , ensuring test coverage and quality across builds and releases in a CI/CD environment.
• Perform backend validations using SQL and support system integration testing.

What Youll Bring

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong hands-on experience with Java , Selenium , and REST Assured (or equivalent tools)

Good understanding of API testing , UI automation , and SQL

Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies

Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud environments, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation , microservices, or mobile testing

Domain experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or automotive products

Location: Bengaluru / Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Experience: 5+ years in Automation QA
