Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team in the Oil and Gas domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GITHUB Cypress Javascript Jenkins Java and Jira. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software development processes contributing significantly to our companys success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality in the Oil and Gas domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects using tools like Jira.
  • Utilize GITHUB for version control and collaboration ensuring seamless integration with development teams.
  • Execute automated tests using Cypress and Javascript to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Monitor and maintain continuous integration processes using Jenkins to streamline software delivery.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues enhancing overall product reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives to drive project success.
  • Mentor junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of quality.
  • Contribute to the companys mission by ensuring high-quality software that meets customer needs and expectations.

    • Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with GITHUB Cypress Javascript Jenkins Java and Jira.
  • Proven track record in the Oil and Gas domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a hybrid model.
  • Nice to have experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.

    ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level
