| About the team | Offshore Model. Direct point of contact for customer for Infrastructure automation using IaC Terraform and configuration management tool like Ansible. Coordinating with various teams like Cloud, Network, Storage, application teams etc.. |
| Role & Responsibilities | - Engineer graduate with 2+ year experience in Ansible, Terraform with overall 8+ year experience in IT.
- Build and support Infrastructure using IaC Terraform in the cloud or on-premises.
- Pushing configurations through automation using Ansible playbooks.
- Worked on CI/CD, GitOps, Azure DevOps, Jenkins pipelines.
- Monitoring container infrastructure using Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk etc..
- Working with bug tracking and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Keep track of and report the status of project progress, including technical issues, troubleshooting steps and RCA.

| Experience | - Creating and maintaining Terraform modules that encapsulate Infra setup, making them easier to reuse across different public private clouds and environments.
- Understanding of both general Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Networking/firewall concepts and their role with regards to Kubernetes infrastructure and application delivery.
- Creating Ansible playbooks for automation
- Troubleshooting pod/container deployments, runtime issues.
- Adaptability to working with multiple teams on projects with varying degrees of flexibility/rigidity at different points in the development cycle.
- Monitoring cluster, Node health using Grafana and Splunk.
- Working and alerts configuration using Prometheus.
- Scripting knowledge on Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Previous experience working in an environment with formally structured IT Operational processes: work request ticket management, incident management, change management, and problem management
