Education Criteria:

Bachelors / masters degree in computer science engineering

Proven hands-on experience in Software Automation Testing.

Experience Level:

Laterals who have 2-5 years of experience in Software Test Automation

Technical Skills (Essential):

Proficiency in Core Java and Advanced Java

Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python

Strong working experience in Selenium automation with Java, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, and BDD

Test Reporting using Extent Report and Cucumber Reports

Good knowledge of API Testing concepts: HTTP methods, Components of API

Experience in API test automation experience (REST, RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, Karate)

Experience handling test data in Excel, Text, JSON, XML, and YAML formats using Java

Working knowledge of Git commands and Git version control tools like Gitlab or Azure DevOps

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Fast learner, adaptable, and capable of working in high-pressure environments

Technical Skills (Desirable):

CI/CD integration with Jenkins using maven project Creating Jenkins Jobs, Pipelines

Familiarity with Docker for test environment setup.

Payment domain experience with SWIFT(MT/MX), ACH, SEPA messages.

Experience of working in Ubuntu platform.

Experience in implementing test automation solutions using AI

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable test automation using BDD-Selenium-Java-TestNG framework

Develop and maintain end to end functional test cases automation using REST APIs by utilizing in-house API Test Automation tool.

Collaborate with Manual QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test automation coverage.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure Repositories.

Strong communication skills (ability to describe the situation, articulate the problem, scenario, results)

Co-ordinate and work with members from other teams (Manual QA, Development, BA) when needed.

Understand the problem, analyze a situation, propose a solution.

Continuously improve test automation practices and contribute to code quality initiatives.
