Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic engineer to support technology development, system integration, installation, and field deployment of advanced automation solutions. The role requires strong cross-disciplinary expertise and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. A willingness to travel is essential.

Key focus areas include automation of manufacturing lines through PLC and robotics integration and leveraging multi-domain knowledge to drive innovation.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, integrate, and validate mechatronic systems for new technology initiatives
  • Support installation, commissioning, and field deployment of automated systems
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots and collaborative robots (cobots)
  • Perform multi-domain debugging across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software systems
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and field operations teams
  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, installation guides, and project handover materials
  • Contribute to system optimization, reliability improvements, and continuous enhancement of deployed solutions
  • Program and integrate PLCs, robotics, and control systems to automate manufacturing lines


Must-Have Skills

Mechanical

  • Strong understanding of machine elements, mechanisms, and tolerance stack-ups
  • Proficiency in interpreting CAD models, assemblies, and GD&T principles
  • Familiarity with actuators, motors, pneumatics, and mechanical subsystems

Electrical & Electronics

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with industrial wiring, sensors, actuators, motor drives, and control panels
  • Working knowledge of analog/digital electronics and basic PCB-level debugging

Programming, Controls & Robotics

  • Practical experience with PLCs and associated programming tools
  • Hands-on programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of industrial robots and cobots
  • Exposure to robot motion control, safety configurations, end-effector integration, and communication interfaces (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
  • Ability to integrate PLCs, robotics, and control systems for manufacturing automation
