Role Overview: We are looking for a Automation Engineer with 13 years of experience to contribute to the qualification of features for a SaaS product hosted on AWSCove Data Protection, the flagship offering from N-able in the cybersecurity domain. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) with 13 years of experience in test automation using Python, along with a strong foundation in manual testing and API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing test plans and automation frameworks.

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python

Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications

Perform thorough API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies

Identify, report, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

Participate in regular Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Must-Have Skills:

13 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing

Strong experience in writing automated test scripts in Python

Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira)

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

Familiarity with Pytest, or other testing frameworks

Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
