About the Role
Develop and execute test cases for Snowflake data pipelines, transformations, and SQL logic.
Responsibilities
- Validate data integrity, lineage, and business rules across ETL/ELT workflows.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and backend database testing.
- Log defects, track resolutions, and collaborate with data engineers and developers.
- Review requirements and provide QA input during design and development.
- Document test results and support post-deployment validation.
Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in Snowflake.
- Experience testing data pipelines (ADF, Airflow, Informatica, DBT, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Familiarity with QA processes, defect management tools (e.g., JIRA), and Agile practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Skills
- 58 years in QA, with at least 12 years in data/Snowflake testing.
- Experience validating dashboards/reports and BI tools.
- ISTQB/CSQA or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
- Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.
