Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled senior automation test engineer with over 5 years of experience in automation testing, strong technical expertise in Java, BDD/Cucumber, SQL, and API testing, and a deep understanding of the test cycle process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with web application testing and CI/CD processes and proficiency in tools like Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java and BDD/Cucumber.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Lead end-to-end test cycle management, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Conduct web application testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Utilize version control (GIT), defect tracking, and test management tools (JIRA) effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the BDD/Cucumber framework.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for database validation.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).
• In-depth knowledge of the Test Cycle Process (STLC).
• Experience with web application testing and CI/CD processes (Jenkins).
