Automation Developer with Orchestration Workflow Development

What success looks like in this role:

The candidate would be responsible for building highly scalable automation capabilities along with integrations and deliver support for automation infrastructure.

Responsibilities include detailed design, development, deployment in cloud and data center environments & support.

Duties in this role include the following:

• Understand high level designs and translate to detailed technical designs.
• Automate various Infrastructure services using automation tools and scripting languages on both On-premise and Cloud platforms
• Integrate multiple components including Service management tools like ServiceNow & AIOPS technologies to provide end-to-end automation capabilities using APIs and other methodologies
• Executes test cases to perform unit and integration testing of automation routines.
• Troubleshoot Programing issues, and provide support to automation infrastructure.
• Understand high level designs and develop capabilities based on designs
• Complies with frameworks of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile (SCRUM)
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Equivalent

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience with at  least 3 years in Automation development for Data Center or Cloud platforms
• Experience with automation tools like ServiceNow Flow Designer/Orchestration, Ansible, Puppet or Azure Logic Apps.
• Programming experience using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Java Script, PowerShell, XLST,  , etc.
• Exposure to various infrastructure technologies especially in Automating operational tasks
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud management platforms is beneficial
• Familiar with DevOps approach
• SDLC (Software development life Cycle) and Agile Methodologies (SCRUM) familiarity
• Ability to work in a global team, with multiple stakeholders across functions, business units and geographical regions
• Ability to communicate task information with clients
• Knowledge of Engineering Concepts
• Team Player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
