Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Manager to oversee and manage audits for our clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in auditing, proficiency in Excel, a solid understanding of finance, and experience with inventory management. You will be responsible for coordinating audit teams, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying areas for financial improvement.


Responsibilities:


Audit Planning and Execution:

o Lead and manage audit engagements, from planning to final reporting.

o Conduct audits for various financial and operational areas, including revenue, expenses, internal controls, and compliance with financial regulations.

o Analyze financial statements and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Inventory Management Audits:

o Perform inventory audits, ensuring the proper valuation and control of inventory, including stock count procedures and reviewing inventory management practices.

o Collaborate with inventory teams to assess stock discrepancies, optimize processes, and ensure efficiency.

Financial Reporting:

o Review financial records and transactions to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential financial risks.

o Prepare audit reports, including identifying any risks, weaknesses, or improvements in financial reporting.

o Provide recommendations for improving financial controls and processes.

Team Management and Development:

o Supervise, train, and mentor junior auditors and staff.

o Ensure that audit teams meet deadlines and adhere to professional standards and internal guidelines.

o Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.

Client Interaction:

o Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates during audits.

o Build and maintain positive client relationships, offering advisory services as needed.

o Communicate audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to clients.

Use of Technology and Tools:

o Utilize Excel and auditing software to perform detailed analysis, data reconciliation, and generate financial reports.

o Assist in automating audit procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Compliance and Regulatory Awareness:

o Stay updated on financial regulations, accounting standards (such as IFRS/GAAP), and industry best practices.

o Ensure all audits comply with applicable local and international auditing standards.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on financial audits and inventory management.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

Solid understanding of financial principles, auditing standards, and inventory management practices.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present audit findings clearly to clients and management.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
