Audit & Assurance

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audit Associate based in Delhi. The Audit Associate will support the delivery of external audit engagements for UK entities, assisting in the execution of audit procedures in accordance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, and International Standards on Auditing (UK). The role provides exposure to statutory audits, financial reporting, and client interaction within a structured audit environment.

Audit Execution

• Assist in planning and performing audit fieldwork under supervision.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
• Prepare audit working papers in line with firm methodology and ISA (UK) requirements.
• Document audit evidence clearly and ensure appropriate audit trails.

Financial Statement Support

• Review of statutory accounts under FRS 102 / FRS 105/ IFRS.
• Perform trial balance analysis and reconciliations.
• Review general ledger transactions and investigate variances.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure audit files meet internal quality control standards.
• Support completion of audit checklists and disclosure reviews.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and independence requirements.

Client Interaction

• Liaise with clients to obtain audit evidence and supporting documentation.
• Follow up on information requests and manage data received from clients.

Team Support

• Work closely with seniors and managers to meet audit deadlines.
• Assist with administrative and engagement-related tasks as required.
  

• Qualified ACCA / ACA/ CA (or equivalent).
• 13 years experience in audit or accounting (UK audit exposure preferred).
• Experience working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar is advantageous.
