Position Summary

Fort Hill is seeking a detail-orientedAudit & Analytics Consultant with up to five years of experience in contract audit & compliance . The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigor, familiarity with construction documentation , and strong coordination skills.

\"In this role, you will support management in evaluating billings, reviewing contractual compliance, validating financial submissions, and preparing audit deliverables. You will also work directly with clients, and project stakeholders to gather evidence and support findings.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Financial Compliance

• Assist in conducting contract audits focused on cost verification and billing accuracy.
• Review supporting financial documents against construction related contract terms.
• Perform analytical tests to identify inconsistencies, or non-compliant charges.

Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

• Prepare clear, detailed audit reports outlining findings, impacts, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain required documentation and resolve queries.
• Communicate technical and financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Utilize data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, AI or similar) to streamline audit procedures.
• Support the integration of AI-enabled tools and digital solutions into the audit process.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Construction Management , Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in project management, cost analysis, audit compliance, or financial documentation review.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level); familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.

Good to have

• Knowledge of audit frameworks such asCOSO Internal Controls or GAO Yellow Book.
• Exposure to financial modeling (NPV, IRR, DCF) or cost-control systems.
