Role Overview
The Audience Acquisition Associate is responsible for executing direct delegate recruitment for Everest Groups flagship events. This is a hands-on, outbound-focused role centered on calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to drive qualified attendance. This is a target-oriented role, with clear delegate recruitment goals and accountability for execution within defined event timelines.
The associate will work from defined target lists and outreach plans, engaging three primary audiences:
1.Members and active clients (with approval and coordination)
2.Prospects and former clients
3.Cold prospects identified by title, function, and persona
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in delegate acquisition, conference sales, or SDR-style outreach at a B2B events company or consultancy, and who is comfortable with high-volume, structured outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Delegate Outreach and Recruitment
Execute daily outbound calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging to recruit qualified delegates for Everest Group events.
Follow defined outreach cadences and scripts to drive registrations and meeting acceptance.
Clearly communicate event value propositions based on audience segment and persona.
Track all outreach activity and outcomes in CRM or tracking tools.
Target List Execution and Maintenance
Work from pre-built and evolving target lists across members, prospects, and cold accounts.
Maintain list accuracy, including contact status, outreach stage, and next steps.
Flag data gaps, bounced emails, and incorrect contacts for cleanup or replacement.
Conduct light prospect research to add new contacts aligned to target titles and functions.
Member and Client Outreach Support
Support recruitment of members and active clients once approval is received from Sales or Client Directors.
Execute outreach on behalf of internal stakeholders when green-lighted, following agreed messaging and guidelines.
Track responses and escalate high-interest leads or questions to appropriate internal owners.
Prospect and Former Client Recruitment
Own direct outreach to Engage prospects and former clients using approved messaging.
Qualify interest and confirm attendance intent.
Share insights on objections, interest levels, and messaging effectiveness with the Events and Marketing teams.
Cold Prospecting Execution
Execute cold outreach programs using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, marketing databases, and internal lists.
Follow structured daily and weekly activity targets for calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches.
Test messaging variations and provide feedback on what resonates with target personas.
Messaging and Script Usage
Use provided call scripts, email templates, and LinkedIn sequences consistently.
Provide feedback to improve scripts based on live conversations and response patterns.
Ensure all outreach aligns with event positioning, agenda themes, and audience criteria.
Reporting and Performance Tracking
Track personal outreach activity and conversion metrics, including connects, responses, and registrations.
Provide regular updates on progress toward delegate targets.
Surface risks early when targets appear at risk due to response rates or list quality.
Required Skills and Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in delegate acquisition, conference sales, SDR, inside sales, or outbound marketing roles.
Prior experience recruiting attendees for B2B conferences, summits, or executive events strongly preferred.
Comfort with high-volume calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
Experience using CRM systems, marketing databases, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with senior business leaders.
Clear, concise writing skills for email and LinkedIn outreach.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and consistent in execution.
Ability to follow defined processes while providing practical feedback to improve them.

Quality and relevance of recruited delegates.
Accuracy and completeness of outreach tracking and list updates.
