• Responsible for outgoing quality of machine shop Cylinder block and Cylinder head
• Responsible for conducting various audits in machine shop as Product & Process Audit
• Ensure 100% compliance to Layout inspection audit plan vs actual
• Responsible for effective implementation of SPC on shop floor
• Responsible for planning and conducting the MSA for machine shop gauges
• Responsible for root cause analysis for machine shop rejection/rework
• Responsible for reduction of COPQ
• Responsible for the assembly, testing, user plant concerns related to machine shop process, analysis and effective counter measure (ICA and PCA)
• Involvement in new projects to ensure the quality requirements as per as per PPAP/APQP and fulfillment of key deliverable
• Must be able to understand the basic measurement and drawing as well as 3 CMM, Contour tracer, profile projector, height gauge
• Conversant with geometrical parameter and measurement system

BE Mechanical / Automobile

• Knowledge of machining centre ( HMC , VMC , Honing )
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications
• SPC, MSA, PPAP,IMS , APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, SOP
• Part inspection, inspection report analysis and determine product acceptance standard
• Manpower handling

• Knowledge of cylinder head and block machining process
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) & drawing understanding
• Hands on experience of measuring instruments and equipment’s.
• Concern resolution through problem solving tools ( 7 QC tools/ Six Sigma yellow belt/green belt)
