Asst Manager Quality

Role Summary

Responsible for maintaining and enforcing the company's quality management system (ISO) , ensuring the quality of all outbound shipments and samples , and managing all technical documentation across the organization. This role requires a strong focus on vendor quality, third-party inspection management, and cross-functional development support.

Key Responsibilities

• Outgoing Quality Control: Ensure the quality of all outbound shipments and samples before dispatch.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Quality: Conduct regular visits to vendor factories for order production monitoring and Pre-dispatch Inspections (PDI). Manage and coordinate all required Third-Party Inspections (TPI), both for customers and vendor sourcing.
• Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and manage the company's ISO Quality System.
• Documentation & Data Management: Handle all technical drawings and details. Update quality reports, Item Master, and history sheets on the ERP system. Maintain the sample database from clients and suppliers on the ERP system.
• Cross-Functional Support: Assist Marketing and Purchase Departments in the development of new items and onboarding new clients.

Desired Experience & Skills

Qualification: BE/ B Tech Mechanical/ Production Engineering from reputed University

• Experience: Prior experience in the quality or a related field is a must , with a preference for experience working with Export Companies. Experience dealing with China factories is an added advantage.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Adaptable in using various measuring/checking instruments and product quality standards.
• Conversant with manufacturing processes such as Sheet Metal Pressing, Machining, Welding, and Surface Treatments.
• Capable of arranging laboratory testing for material and component quality parameters.
• Software & Attributes:
• Proficient in MS-Office suite, with knowledge of CAD and making drawings.
• Must be highly observant and interested in details.
• Excellent communication skills, good work ethics, and discipline are essential.
