About the Team and the Role:

Join our Facilities and Administration team as an Assistant Manager for Capacity Expansion, a critical role focused on scaling our physical infrastructure. You will be instrumental in executing large-scale commercial, industrial, and retail projects across India. This position involves managing all project phases, from planning and vendor coordination to ensuring the successful delivery of new facilities that meet our standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. In addition to project execution, this role encompasses the oversight of essential facility services. Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the execution and handover of key infrastructure elements, collaborating with field operations teams and external vendors.

• Drive comprehensive vendor management for soft services (housekeeping, security, catering), managing performance reviews, contract renewals, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Guarantee adherence to all project deliverables, including safety protocols, quality standards, budget constraints, and delivery timelines.

• Support the Lead – Facility and Administration by supervising day-to-day operational activities and ensuring smooth project progression.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), trackers, and meeting minutes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

• Process vendor invoices, track payments against project milestones, and manage the creation and approval of Purchase Orders (POs) for seamless financial operations.

• Assist in obtaining and organizing necessary regulatory permits, licenses, and statutory compliance documents for new and ongoing sites.

• Manage all project phases from initial planning to successful completion, ensuring alignment with cost and time estimates.

• Coordinate effectively with fabricators, vendors, and contractors to drive project execution and resolve on-site challenges.

• Monitor site inventory and asset tracking, coordinating with procurement teams to replenish essential supplies and materials as required.

• Drive the successful implementation of large-scale commercial, industrial, and retail expansion projects across India.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 5-6 years of experience in project management and implementation.

Must have Competencies:

• Proven experience in developing and managing large-scale commercial, industrial, and retail infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in project management tools including AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and travel extensively across India.

Good to have Competencies:

• Fluency in Hindi & Kannada to facilitate effective communication with regional contractors and teams.

• Familiarity with formal project management methodologies such as PMP or Agile.

• Prior experience working on infrastructure projects within the manufacturing, automotive, or renewable energy sectors.
