Role Summary
YBP is Yulus franchise-led expansion model focused on scaling electric mobility across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India. The YBP team is looking for a high-ownership, early-career professional who thrives in execution-heavy environments. This role sits at the intersection of new city acquisition, partner growth, and on-ground problem-solving. You will drive end-to-end partner conversion (from telecalling to city launch), support city-level performance improvement, and actively work on driving DAU growth and retention across assigned markets. This is not a desk-only role. It requires hustle, structure, analytical thinking, and comfort working directly with partners across India.
Key Responsibilities
New City Acquisition & Launch (0 Go-Live)
- Handle inbound and outbound prospect outreach (telecalling, qualification, follow-ups)
- Evaluate potential partners for investment readiness, operational capability, and long-term alignment
- Drive conversion from the first discussion to a signed agreement
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness across Ops, EV, Tech, Finance, Marketing, and L&D
- Support end-to-end launch execution and go-live timelines
City-Level Growth & Demand Management
- Track DAU metrics daily across assigned cities
- Identify churn patterns and demand gaps
- Work closely with partners to rally demand during dips
- Support renewals, upselling, and expansion conversations
- Coordinate with marketing for on-ground activations and local growth initiatives
Operational Problem Solving & Partner Support
- Act as the first escalation point for YBPs
- Coordinate with central teams to unblock operational bottlenecks
- Improve TAT on recurring issues
- Identify recurring inefficiencies and propose scalable process fixes
- Support field-level execution and ensure adherence to Yulu best practices
Data Discipline & Structured Execution
- Maintain structured trackers for leads, conversions, DAU, and churn
- Prepare weekly performance summaries
- Use data to drive decisions and actionable insights
- Ensure monthly both mobility and delivery competitive landscape benchmarking
- Build strong documentation habits for scalability
Brand Standards & Compliance
- Ensure brand standards, marketing collateral, and on-ground branding across partner cities are consistent with Yulu guidelines
- Audit partner cities periodically to ensure adherence to visual identity, communication standards, and customer experience benchmarks, Success Metrics (KRAs) [including but not limited to]
- Number of new cities converted and launched per quarter
- Lead-to-launch conversion ratio
- DAU growth % across assigned cities
- Churn reduction %
- Partner retention and satisfaction level
Who Are We Looking For?
- 03 years of experience in startups, operations, sales, business development, or growth roles
- strong ownership mindset with a bias for action
- Comfortable with telecalling, partner conversations, and field visits
- Highly structured with numbers; a strong working knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working with partners in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Willingness to travel as required
- Bonus: Prior experience in mobility, franchise, EV, or hyperlocal operations
