Role: Associate VP Sales & Business Development

Industry Type: General Insurance Corporate Sales


Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive General Insurance Sales Heads to join our team and drive the expansion of our business.

  • Primary responsibility will be to proactively seek out and acquire new corporate clients, understanding their specific insurance needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Desired Knowledge of Commercial Lines products i.e. Property Insurance, Group Health Insurance, Liability Insurance, etc.
  • Manage corporate relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Regularly meet with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify new opportunities, showcasing the benefits of our offerings, and address any challenges and effectively closing sales.
  • Act as the main point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Customer engagement and relationship nurturing: Continuously engage with existing small and medium-sized business clients, fostering long-term relationships and promoting cross sell business maintaining renewal business.
  • Provide support and assistance to clients, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Corporate insurance sales: Drive sales of corporate insurance products, meeting set targets and contributing to overall business growth.
  • Additionally, you will actively contribute to our marketing efforts and stay updated on industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Achievement of Revenue numbers through Corporate Business Development.
  • Building a sustainable Sales pipeline.



Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in General Insurance Business Development.
  • Strategic understanding of Corporate Sales and business domain.
  • Good comprehension knowledge of insurance products including Property Insurance, Group health Insurance, Liability Insurance, Marine & Fire Insurance, etc.
  • Excellent skills in communication and presentations.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships.
  • Minimum Education criteria: Graduation in any stream, MBA will be added advantage.
