Associate Vice President - Investments

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Associate Vice President - Investments. The candidate should have 8-10 years experience in real estate investment management. The responsibilities include end to end investment management comprising evalution of investment opportunities, overseeing due diligence, analyzing financial data related to real estate developments, negotiating transaction documents and ensuring post investment compliances in the deals. The candidate is exepcted to independently manage stakeholder relationships including developers, due diligence vendors and IPCs across cities.

Responsibilities:

Deal Analysis and Financial Modelling:

• Analyse potential investment opportunities, including financial statements, market data, and other relevant information.
• Create detailed financial models, conduct cash flow analysis, and assess the feasibility of proposed deals.

Investment Committee Support:

• Prepare comprehensive investment committee approval notes, outlining the key factors and risks associated with proposed investments.
• Collaborate with team members to present investment proposals to the investment committee.

Due Diligence and Documentation:

• Assist in due diligence processes, ensuring thorough examination of legal, financial, and operational aspects of potential investments.
• Participate in negotiations for commercial terms and transaction documents with real estate developers
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Portfolio Performance Review:

• Monitor and analyse the performance of the investee portfolio, identifying trends and proposing adjustments as needed.
• Generate reports for senior management detailing portfolio performance and recommending strategies for optimization.

Market Analysis and Investment Strategy:

• Stay abreast of real estate market trends, conducting research to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with senior management to devise investment strategies, including identifying micro-markets and asset classes.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 experience in real estate investment analysis, financial modelling, and deal structuring.
• Post Graduate in finance, business or related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of real estate markets and trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
