Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Associate Vice President B2C Retail Sales to lead and scale the Tile Adhesive business across key western markets. The role will be responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth, expanding the dealer and distributor network, strengthening market presence, and leading high-performing multi-state sales teams.

This position requires a strategic leader with deep domain expertise in tile adhesives / construction chemicals / building materials , strong execution capability, and a proven track record of managing large B2C retail operations across multiple regions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for commodity and value-added products (VAP) to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Define clear sales objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.


2. Market & Network Expansion

  • Drive expansion of dealer, distributor, and retail outlet networks across Maharashtra and Gujarat.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to strengthen distribution reach and penetration.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to optimize channel performance and profitability.


3. Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop State Heads, Regional Managers, and Sales Teams , fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of regional sales teams with the companys vision, growth plans, and ethical standards.


4. Sales Operations & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end sales operations including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and review mechanisms .
  • Implement best-in-class sales processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Leverage digital tools such as the Samruddhi App to enhance sales execution and customer engagement.


5. Trade Marketing & Promotional Activities

  • Plan and execute trade promotions, dealer meets, sales campaigns, and sampling activities to support brand visibility and demand generation.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to roll out new product launches and promotional initiatives.


6. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, and influencers .
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and issue resolution.


7. Credit Control & Governance

  • Ensure zero overdue and healthy receivables by implementing strong credit control and collections mechanisms .
  • Monitor customer accounts and proactively address payment risks.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
