Job Overview:

Title examiner who is keen to learn and who has extensive experience in US Title Examining for full search process. The position requires the examiner to review title documents, assess the open liens/judgment and other liabilities that may affect the title to the property.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

•         Examine title documents to determine ownership, legal description, and encumbrances to title.
•        Assess risks and liabilities and determine the insurability due to matters of record including but not limited to deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgements, probate, and assessments
•         Review taxes and assessments
•          Prepare title commitments/Preliminary Report
•          Identify title defects and work with escrow teams and clients for curative solutions

Qualification & Experience

•          Graduate with minimum 18 months’ experience in US Title Search and Examining
•          Expertise in title policies and title commitments
•          Multi state title search experience is a must
•          Has complete attention to details
•          Experience in title plants (Data Trace/Title Point) and online (Netronline and County Websites) title search process
•          Well-versed with state-wise title procedures
•       Ability to act quickly, think critically and work well as part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment.
•       Flexible to work in night shifts
