Position: Associate Tech Specialist – Devops

Location : Hinjewadi – Pune (Hybrid)

Experience : 4 to 6 Years

Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations, streamlining the software development lifecycle. They are responsible for optimizing and automating the entire process, from code development to deployment, ensuring smooth, reliable, and secure software releases.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Automate tasks like building, testing, and deploying software, using tools like CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Manage and maintain the infrastructure needed for software development and deployment, including servers, databases, and networks.
• Works closely with developers and operations staff to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Automate Infrastructure as code using ARM or Bicep templates.
• Manage and report on Static code analysis.
• Mentor Associate DevOps Engineers and share technical knowledge.
• Strong understanding of programming languages and scripting, especially for automation tasks.
• Stay up to date on technology trends and incorporate best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, Java, Python, Angular, React).
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, APIs and system design principles.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code Automation using Azure Templating (ARM, Bicep) or Terraform.
• Experience with Blue/Green deployment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Shift working 2PM to 11 PM.
