The Government and public sector transactions services is part of EY's Government & Public Sector (GPS) Services which is a network of highly skilled professionals from assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, devoted to serving the government and public sector organizations and institutions. 

The practice combines private sector leading practice with an understanding of the public sector’s diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services. Government and public sector transactions services, sits under EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team, working with leading businesses across a range of industries. This practice is in a unique position to deliver implementable strategies given the firm’s sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights. 

The practice provides experience working with various sectors such as, Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory , Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities and Public Finance & Management.

Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.

Technical Excellence

Provide clients with business solutions tailored to their company and industry needs
_x000D_ Grow client base and drive future business through consistent high-quality work
_x000D_ Help clients meet their goals by providing recommendations based on data and market research
_x000D_ Foresee outcomes of proposals using data projections
_x000D_ Acquire familiarity with multiple industries in order to serve a diverse client base
_x000D_ Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients
_x000D_ Develop action plans for clients based on in-depth research from diverse, reputable sources
_x000D_ Collaborate with fellow consultants on multiple projects
_x000D_ Find and interview experts who can speak to specific client needs
_x000D_ Produce data-based projected outcomes of proposed action plans, and create decks to present to clients and fellow consultants
_x000D_ Research and pursue opportunities for future business development

_x000D_ Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
_x000D_ Qualification

_x000D_ MBA/ Post Graduation from a premier college
_x000D_ Experience working in manufacturing, consulting, marketing, or analytics
_x000D_ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
_x000D_ Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software, like Salesforce and NetSuite
_x000D_ Experience conducting research, surveys, or interviews, and gleaning insights from results

Experience

_x000D_ young professional with 1 to 3 years of experience
_x000D_ Strong business instincts and ambition to grow and learn
_x000D_ Practiced written and verbal communication skills
