We are seeking an Associate - Pursuits to join our business development team in Bangalore. Reporting to our Senior Associate - Pursuits, you will be responsible for creating the proposals, strategy presentations, and pursuit documentation that enable us to compete for and win complex workplace transformation projects.

This is a business-critical role. The quality and timeliness of pursuit documentation directly impact our ability to secure new engagements and grow our practice. You will work closely with strategy, design, and business development teams to translate complex workplace concepts into compelling client-ready materials.

Reporting to: Aditya Meduri, Senior Associate - Pursuits

Location: Bangalore (office-based)

Pursuit Documentation (70%)

• Create proposals, capability presentations, RFP responses, and strategy decks using Adobe InDesign as the primary platform
• Translate workplace strategies, project case studies, and technical content into visually coherent, professionally formatted documents
• Manage multiple concurrent deadlines while maintaining consistently high standards of quality and accuracy
• Ensure all client-facing materials adhere to brand guidelines and reflect Unispace's positioning as a strategic partner

Collaboration & Process (20%)

• Partner with the Senior Associate - Pursuits to understand client requirements, competitive positioning, and win themes for each opportunity
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including strategy leads, design directors, and commercial teams, to gather and structure content
• Develop working knowledge of Unispace's service offerings, project portfolio, and competitive landscape
• Participate in pursuit planning to understand the strategic context behind documentation requirements

Systems & Continuous Improvement (10%)

• Maintain organised template libraries, asset repositories, and design standards
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality in the pursuit documentation process
• Stay current with best practices in proposal design and professional services marketing

Experience

• 3-8 years in proposal design, pursuit documentation, or presentation design, preferably within professional services, design consultancies, architecture firms, or related industries
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality documentation under deadline pressure
• Understanding of pursuit processes, including RFPs, capability presentations, and competitive submissions
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in multi-page document design and layout composition

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong grasp of typography, layout principles, and information design
• Understanding of print production and digital publishing workflows

• Attention to detail and accuracy in high-stakes client deliverables
• Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear visual narratives
• Collaborative working style with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders

Preferred

• Background in architecture, interior design, or workplace strategy
• Experience with data visualisation and infographic design
• Familiarity with commercial real estate or corporate workplace terminology
• Exposure to CRM or pursuit management systems
