Associate Project Manager

Role Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the coordination of all aspects of assigned projects to meet and exceed customer expectations. Understands the programmatic approach (including global) and possesses the ability to build program structure. The candidate will be required to work from Bhiwandi in a hybrid mode.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acts as Single-Point-of Contact (SPoC) for a project and be accountable for optimal customer satisfaction
• Documents and manages project scope, goals, timelines/milestones, budgets, and specific deliverables while keeping project teams highly engaged, motivated, and accountable
• Identifies and manages project risks, issues, action items, change requests and decisions including mitigation approaches and contingency plans
• Creates and manages project(s) status reports for deliverables and milestones for completeness
• Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develops a detailed project plan to track progress
• Identifies and leads internal resources for predictive results
• Interacts with Program customers and vendors if needed
• Manages financials, metrics, service level agreements and key performance indicators

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of total experience and a minimum of 3 years project and/or program management experience
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Previous experience working in a supply chain environment would be an added advantage
• Excellent understanding of financial processes with the ability to create pro forma, track project metrics, forecast future trends and manage change.
• Excellent understanding of the contract process with the ability to manage contract modifications, control the impact to a program, and take the lead for negotiations on contract scope, cost and schedule.
• Ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines
• Proficiency in working with project management software, i.e.: MS Project
