Boeing India IT Product Systems team is currently looking for an Associate Software Developer – Java and Angular (Full Stack) to join their team in Bangalore, India. The candidate will join a team that works on developing the latest digital airplane connectivity solutions.
 

Position Responsibilities:
•    Understands and develops software solutions to meet end-user requirements.
•    Ensures that applications integrate with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
•    Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces, and writes interface control documents for use in the construction of moderately complex solutions.
 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•    Strong experience in object-oriented programming, Java/J2EE applications, and advanced concepts.
•    Working knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
•    Proficient in UI frameworks – HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
•    Experience with Angular 8 and above.
•    Hands-on experience in Test-Driven Development (JUnit/Karma).
•    Experience working with XML and JSON.
•    Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
•    Strong work ethic, communication skills, and time management with the ability to work in diverse teams and with multiple stakeholders.
•    Capable of developing new applications as well as maintaining existing codebases.
•    Strong relational database experience, and demonstrated ability in SQL and data modeling.
•    Ability to manage all software configuration items, installations, and cutovers within a given scope.
•    Familiar with ALM tools: GitLab, Gradle, Docker, SonarQube.
•    Experience in cloud-based development (Azure/AWS).
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills to collaborate in a globally distributed team.
•    Hands-on exposure to Agile (Scrum) and DevOps methodologies.
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    Experience in the Aerospace domain.
•    Experience in Data Transformation and API Design for data sharing is a plus.
 

Typical Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor's Degree with typically 4–7 years of experience, or Master's Degree with typically 3–7 years of experience.
•    A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematics, scientific, or information technology field of study.
