Teaching Excellence

• Deliver engaging and rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Innovate curriculum that bridges theory with applied social impact, critical inquiry, global perspectives, and sustainability.
• Incorporate experiential learning, community engagement projects, and digital pedagogies.

Research & Scholarship

• Establish a high-impact research profile with publications in top discipline-specific journals.
• Lead or participate in funded research projects, think tanks, and policy initiatives.
• Present work at major international conferences and contribute to scholarly discourse.

Mentorship & Academic Leadership

• Supervise Masters and Ph.D. research.
• Mentor junior faculty and student researchers.
• Lead academic committees, workshops, and community outreach.

Institutional Service

• Contribute to program development, quality assurance, and assessment.
• Engage in inter-disciplinary initiatives and public scholarship.
• Support Woxsens mission toward inclusive, ethical, and societally relevant education.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in a relevant social sciences discipline from a globally recognized institution.
• Strong evidence of scholarly contributions and teaching excellence.
• Ability to advance research, secure funding, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and academic citizenship.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in curriculum design, digital humanities, or community-based research.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic program accreditation, assessment, or academic governance.
