Associate Professor of Computer Science

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Pedagogy

• Deliver high-quality instruction in core and elective CSE subjects (e.g., Distributed Systems, Advanced Algorithms, AI/ML, Cloud Computing).
• Implement Applied Learning methodologies, moving beyond theory to project-based and industry-aligned assessments.
• Develop new curriculum modules that reflect the latest shifts in the global tech landscape.

2. Research & Innovation

• Maintain a robust research pipeline with publications in high-impact journals (Scopus/ABDC/UGC-Care).
• Secure external research funding and grants from national and international agencies.
• Lead or contribute to one of Woxsens specialized Research Cells (e.g., AI & Robotics, Cybersecurity).

3. Institutional Building & Mentorship

• Mentor PhD scholars and undergraduate students in their research projects and career trajectories.
• Lead departmental committees, assist in accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC/AACSB), and contribute to university governance.
• Facilitate international collaborations for student exchanges and joint research.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from a reputed International University or a Tier-1 Indian Institution (IIT, IISc, NIT).
• Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching and research.
• A proven track record of at least 510 publications in Scopus-indexed or equivalent journals.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in at least one emerging area: Generative AI, Blockchain, Edge Computing, or AR/VR.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional "Executive Presence," global mindset, and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, multicultural faculty environment.
