Position Summary:

Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 15+ years of total teaching/research/industry experience with a minimum of 5+ years post-PhD academic experience. The candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and leadership, contributing to the universitys academic and research goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering.
• Guide and mentor students for projects, theses, and research activities.
• Lead and contribute to research initiatives, publish in reputed journals, and present at conferences.
• Develop innovative curriculum and course materials in line with industry trends and academic standards.
• Supervise PhD scholars and foster a research-oriented environment within the department.
• Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars.
• Engage in continuous professional development and promote interdisciplinary research.

Qualifications and Experience:

• PhD in Computer Science Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or industry.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor post-PhD.
• Strong publication record in reputed international journals and conferences.
• Proven track record in securing research funding and leading projects is preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields is desirable.
