Roles & Responsibilities-

Academic Leadership & Program Management

Lead the MCA program by setting academic goals, managing faculty, and driving continuous curriculum improvement.

Oversee the development and implementation of course structures, syllabi, and academic policies.

Faculty Management & Development

Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty members.

Organize faculty development programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Student Development & Engagement

Facilitate student mentoring, career guidance, and soft skill development.

Monitor academic performance, progression, and support mechanisms for struggling students.

Industry & Academic Collaborations

Establish partnerships with IT companies, startups, and research institutions for internships, guest lectures, and placements.

Organize seminars, coding competitions, hackathons, and industry projects.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure compliance with university standards, UGC/AICTE norms, and accreditation of bodies.

Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of computer science subjects, programming, and emerging technologies.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with curriculum development, research supervision, and academic planning.

Proficiency in academic ERP, LMS tools, and digital teaching platforms.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of academic and/or industry experience in the field of Computer Applications or IT.

Proven track record of teaching, curriculum development, research publications, and academic leadership.

Educational Qualification:

Master's degree in computer applications (MCA) or equivalent from a recognized university.

Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
