About the Team and the Role

The Vehicles & Ecosystem team at Ather is responsible for evolving the electric vehicle landscape beyond the vehicle itself, shaping a seamless and aspirational ecosystem for customers through high-quality accessories and merchandise.

This role is for an Associate Product Manager who will build a compelling portfolio of accessories and merchandise from the ground up, ranging from integrated scooter accessories to premium apparel and lifestyle products that reflect the Ather brand ethos.

Responsibilities

• Define and align the product category roadmap with company strategy while securing buy-in from senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Lead the entire product lifecycle from initial market research and concept design to sourcing and final go-to-market execution.

• Identify new product opportunities and ensure product-market fit by deeply analyzing the needs of Ather owners and the EV community.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and supply chain to bring product ideas to life.

• Generate, design, test, and rapidly launch new products that create significant value for the Ather ownership experience.

• Utilize a data-driven approach, leveraging market research and analytics to inform and adjust product strategy.

• Manage stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organization to effectively articulate and execute the product vision.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• 4-7 years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment.

Must Have Competencies

• End-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch.

• Product strategy development and roadmap definition.

• Market research and data analytics for product-market fit identification.

• Consumer product development with a focus on design and detail.

Good to Have Competencies

• Integrated accessories and merchandise product development.

• Sourcing and supply chain collaboration for consumer goods.

• Go-to-market strategy execution for lifestyle or automotive products.

• Cross-functional team leadership involving engineering and design stakeholders.
