Job Description
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate workplace incidents/accidents and implement corrective actions.
- Promote safe work practices through training and awareness programs.
- Environmental Management
- Monitor environmental aspects like air, water, and waste management in accordance with local and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with authorities for permits, audits, and inspections.
- Drive initiatives for resource conservation and sustainability.
- Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Develop emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Maintain EHS-related documentation and records.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit incident reports, audit findings, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain EHS performance metrics and dashboards for management review.
- Participate in EHS committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments (HR, Facilities, Operations) and external agencies (regulatory bodies, consultants).
- Assist in vendor and contractor EHS compliance monitoring.
