Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Associate - Operations & Client Relations. The role bridges operations and sales functions, supporting investment processes, ensuring efficient project execution, and promoting wealth management products such as mutual funds, alternative investments, and portfolio management services. The ideal candidate with collaborate with senior team members in monitoring operational workflows, improve internal processes, and drive sales initiatives to expand our client base and enhance asset under management (AuM). this position is ideal for someone with a passion for finance, strong analytical skills, and a sales-oriented mindset. The role offers exposure to high-stakes client interactions and opportunities for growth in a boutique setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients : Handling inquiries, requests, and communications with prompt, professional, and discreet responses
- Manage client onboarding and account administration : Leading end-to-end onboarding for new clients (KYC compliance, documentation collection, account setup), plus ongoing maintenance (updates, money movements, beneficiary changes, etc.)
- Execute operational workflows and resolve issues: Processing transactions, coordinating with custodians/third parties to handle money movements, trade settlements, reconciliations, corporate actions, discrepancies, or errors.
- Support client meetings, reporting, and relationship management : Preparing customized materials (performance reports and presentations), attending meetings with senior team members to take notes/follow up on action items, and proactively identifying needs or gathering feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is the minimum. A Master's degree in the similar fields or an MBA would be preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, asset management, or a related financial services role. Experience in sales support is preferred
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and internal teams
- Experience in operations management and project management in the wealth management industry for effective process optimization
- Proficiency in using technology and tools for workflow management; experience in financial services is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
