Associate Manager - Weaving Loom Shed (Shift Supervisor - Woven Fabric)

Supervise daily weaving operations during the assigned shift to ensure timely and quality production.

Monitor and manage the performance of loom operators, fitters, and helpers.

Ensure optimal running of looms (Rapier, Air Jet) with minimum downtime.

Check and ensure correct settings of looms, beam changes, and weft/warp supply.

Identify technical issues with looms and coordinate with maintenance for quick resolution.

Ensure fabric quality standards are maintained by monitoring defects, stoppages, and repair activities.

Maintain accurate shift reports including production data, efficiency, breakdowns, and labor deployment.

Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.

Conduct on-shift briefings, motivate team members, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

Collaborate with quality control and maintenance departments to support continuous improvement.
