Associate Manager - Taxation

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager, Taxation to oversee our taxation matters in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related issues in India, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and minimizing tax liabilities. The candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in managing taxation matters in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for the company's operations in India.

• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations in India, including direct and indirect taxes. 

• Manage tax audits, assessments, and appeals in India, and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place.

• End to end ownership of all tax compliances across group

• Review and provide input on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure tax compliance.

• Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments.

• Manage the tax accounting function, including the preparation and review of tax provisions, tax returns, and tax reconciliations.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in India and advise the company on the impact of these changes.

• Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other government agencies in India.

Requirements:

• CA qualification.

• 4-7 years of experience in managing taxation matters in India.

• In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, including direct and indirect taxes.

• Experience in tax planning, tax compliance, and tax accounting.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong leadership and management skills.
