Job Description

Role Summary:

The Associate Manager Talent Acquisition will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities within the Textiles Wovens & Knits Fabric Vertical. This includes developing hiring strategies, identifying talent, building talent pipelines, and ensuring timely hiring of high-caliber professionals across functions such as manufacturing, merchandising, sourcing, R&D, design, and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution
    • Understand workforce plans and talent needs for the Wovens & Knits vertical.
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to forecast hiring needs.
  • Talent Sourcing & Pipelining
    • Use diverse sourcing channels including job portals, social media, employee referrals, and campus hiring.
    • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
    • Engage with industry networks to stay updated on market trends and talent availability.
  • Candidate Management
    • Screen and assess candidates based on job requirements.
    • Conduct initial HR rounds and coordinate functional interviews.
    • Ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role specifications.
    • Provide regular updates on hiring status and maintain clear communication.
    • Train and guide line managers on interviewing techniques when required.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Generate recruitment dashboards and reports.
    • Ensure compliance with internal processes and employment laws.
  • Employer Branding & Campus Hiring
    • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
    • Represent the company at career fairs, textile institutes, and campus engagements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of recruitment in the textile/fabric industry, particularly wovens and knits
  • Strong sourcing and screening capabilities for niche skill sets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with an eye for process improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities simultaneously
