Job Description
- Observe unsafe acts/condition and contribution factor.
- Investigation of the accident and ensuring all corrective measures to be taken.
- Design and conduct training programs to bring safety awareness among the employees.
- Periodical testing, inspection and maintenance of the fire hydrant system including Fire water storage tanks, fire water pumps, pipeline, riser mains, hydrants.
- Periodical testing, inspection and maintenance smoke extractor sets and SCBA sets.
- Periodical testing, inspection and upkeep of automatic fire detection system comprising with Multi sensor detector, probe detector, infra-red detectors, MCP's and LHS cables.
- Organizing fire safety training and demonstrations.
- Comprehensive training and Drill to fireman/Operators various topics related to firefighting/Rescue Drill.
- Provide necessary guidance to shift in charge during routine shift activities and during emergency operations.
- Carryout Fire safety inspection round of the plant and site.
- Responding to fire & emergency call in and outside of the plant premises.
- Updated and Maintained records of Fire Fighting Systems/Equipment.
- Conducted Mock Drills on various scenarios like Fire, Casualty, evacuation etc.
- Recording investigation and analysis of the fire incidents.
- Carrying of fire safety survey and inspection for assessing the adequacy of the fire protection risk control measures.
- Carry out job safety analysis and Identification of potential hazard in respect to Safety.
- Conduct risk assessment and take necessary safety precaution before work start.
- Review the SOP of Safety Procedures & Fire Equipment with respect of time.
- Accident investigation Observing the root cause of accident and providing suggestion as per the hierarchy of control.
- Maintained & Update safety records & Documentation to ensure compliance with the internal policies and external regulations.
- New project Hydrant line installation work.
- Periodical testing, inspection and maintenance of 02 Fire tender and utility vehicle (02 Ambulance,04 scooter)
- Maintained shift schedule
