Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management & Operations
-
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facility systems (HVAC, lighting, compressed air, boilers, chillers, water treatment, etc.).
-
Manage building infrastructure maintenance (electrical systems, plumbing, fire systems, etc.).
-
Ensure uninterrupted utilities supply (electricity, water, steam, air) to support 24/7 production.
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
-
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
-
Monitor equipment performance, identify failures, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
-
Coordinate repair and service activities with internal teams and external contractors.
Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental laws, fire safety codes, and occupational health standards.
-
Implement and monitor safety procedures for equipment and personnel in coordination with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team.
Project Management
-
Lead facility expansion, renovation, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
-
Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets and timelines for facility improvement projects.
Energy & Cost Efficiency
-
Monitor and analyze energy usage across the facility.
-
Propose and implement energy-saving initiatives and cost optimization strategies.
Team Leadership
-
Supervise a team of facility technicians and maintenance staff.
-
Provide training and development to enhance team capability and performance.
Qualifications:
-
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
(Diploma with strong experience may be considered.) -
Experience:
6–10 years in facility engineering or maintenance in textile or similar manufacturing environments.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or associate manager role.
Key Skills & Competencies:
-
In-depth knowledge of facility systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, generators, etc.).

Familiarity with textile machinery support requirements (e.g., looms, dyeing units, finishing machines).
-
Strong understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance systems (e.g., TPM).
-
Knowledge of EHS standards (OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
-
Project planning and execution skills.
-
Budgeting and cost control expertise.
-
Strong leadership and people management.
-
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Preferred Certifications (optional):

Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
-
ISO 14001 / 45001 Auditor Training
-
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Certification
Working Conditions:
-
Based in a textile production facility; may involve working in heat/noise-prone environments.
-
Flexibility to work in shifts or be on call for emergencies.
