Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Engagement & Communication
- Maintain regular presence on the shop floor to engage with employees and build trust.
- Address grievances, listen to employee feedback, and escalate unresolved concerns to HR leadership.
- Facilitate communication between shop floor employees and management.
2. Welfare & Compliance
- Monitor implementation of statutory welfare provisions (e.g., cleanliness, hygiene, drinking water, restrooms, canteen).
- Ensure timely resolution of basic facility and welfare issues.
- Support audits related to compliance and labor welfare.
3. Conflict Management & Discipline
- Support the handling of employee misconduct or disputes in coordination with the ER Manager.
- Assist in maintaining discipline on the floor by promoting awareness and adherence to policies and behavioral norms.
4. Absenteeism & Attrition Control
- Track and analyze attendance patterns; coordinate with supervisors for follow-up on high absenteeism cases.
- Conduct exit discussions and identify root causes of attrition.
5. Employee Development & Induction
- Assist in the induction of new joiners on floor etiquette, safety norms, and behavioral expectations.
- Support training and sensitization programs related to workplace behavior, communication, and team building.
6. Safety & Well-being
- Promote health and safety awareness among floor workers in collaboration with the Safety team.
- Support wellness initiatives and drive awareness on mental health and stress management.
7. Documentation & MIS
- Maintain records of grievances, disciplinary actions, welfare checks, and employee feedback.
- Share regular MIS reports on floor morale, issues raised, and resolutions provided.

- Good documentation and reporting ability
- Local language fluency and cultural awareness (as applicable)
