Job Description
What will be your key responsibilities?
Provide expert guidance to clients on income-tax implications and regulatory frameworks, including FEMA (ODI, OPI, FDI) and cross-border structuring.
Lead transaction advisory assignments, including structuring M&A, secondary transactions and reorganisations with a focus on tax optimisation and regulatory compliance.
Advise clients on ESOP structuring, implementation and taxation, including employee incentive plans and exit-related tax considerations.
Assist clients with cap table structuring and optimisation, including equity structuring across founders, investors and ESOP pools.
Lead client assignments for AIF (fund) setup, including structuring, regulatory approvals and ongoing advisory.
Provide guidance on GIFT IFSC regulations and lead fund and entity setup assignments in IFSC.
What are the key requirements for the role?
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Post-qualification work experience of 1-2 years with at least 1 year of experience in Big4s or equivalent
In-depth understanding of tax regulations and familiarity with key regulatory bodies like FEMA, RBI, SEBI and IFSCA.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tally
Excellent Communication Skills.
