Department: Alternative Investments (Category II AIF)


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Investor Relations & Sales to support capital

raising and investor outreach for our Category II Alternative Investment Fund Meenakshi Real

Assets Fund. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 25 years of experience in sales

and client engagement, preferably within financial services or investment products.

The candidate will play a key role in investor acquisition, market intelligence, and relationship

management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor Outreach & Sales

  • Identify and connect with potential investors including HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, and

institutional investors

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for senior leadership with prospective investors
  • Support end-to-end investor engagement and follow-ups
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the investor pipeline tracker

2. Market & Industry Research

  • Track industry developments within the AIF and private markets ecosystem
  • Monitor competitor funds launches, fundraises, strategies, ticket sizes, performance,
  • etc.
  • Compile regular market intelligence reports for internal strategy discussions

3. Communication & Collateral Support

  • Assist in preparation and sharing of pitch decks, teasers, and fund materials
  • Coordinate investor communications and updates
  • Maintain CRM records and investor database accuracy

4. Business Development Support

  • Participate in investor meetings and assist in preparing meeting notes
  • Support capital raising campaigns and networking initiatives
  • Help organize investor events and roadshows

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or financial services
  • Familiarity with investment products such as AIFs, PMS, mutual funds, private equity, or
  • structured products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct independent industry research and synthesize information
  • Proactive, target-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred but
  • not mandatory)

Preferred Profile

  • Experience interacting with HNIs, family offices, or wealth managers
  • Understanding of AIF regulations and private market structures
  • Strong networking skills and confidence in external engagement
