We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Full-Stack Engineer II to join our Technology Services Group team. This role is located in Chennai.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Improve developer experience and productivity
  • Reduce cognitive load: You create "golden paths"—well-documented, automated pathways for common tasks—so developers don't have to worry about the underlying infrastructure details, which increases their satisfaction.
  • Accelerate onboarding: By building standard, self-service development environments, you make it possible for new engineers to begin contributing in minutes or hours, not days or weeks.
  • Automate repetitive tasks: You eliminate "toil" for developers by automating tasks like infrastructure provisioning, pipeline management, and secrets management. This saves development time and reduces manual errors. 
• Enhance system reliability and scalability
  • Build resilient infrastructure: You ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and highly available by using cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, and built-in redundancy and load-balancing features.
  • Automate scalability: Your work enables the platform to automatically scale resources up or down based on demand. This ensures consistent performance during traffic spikes without requiring manual intervention. 
• Strengthen security and compliance
  • Embed security into the platform: You build security and compliance best practices directly into the shared tooling. This includes managing access controls, running automated security scans, and implementing compliance policies.
  • Reduce risk: By automating security patching and updates for the platform's components, you ensure applications are running on a secure, up-to-date stack. This protects against vulnerabilities and reduces the burden on individual development teams. 
• Drive business value
  • Reduce operational costs: By automating processes and optimizing resource utilization, you lower the overall cost of running and maintaining the company's infrastructure.
  • Increase innovation: Your work shifts the engineering focus from repetitive infrastructure management to building new, value-adding features, which allows the company to focus on its core competencies and gain a competitive advantage
    
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in Computer Science
• Experience in using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge of front end and backend development coding languages such as Java, Spring Boot, REST concepts
• Experience Infrastructure coding tools like Terraform/Ansible are added advantage
• This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, software development, and automation to enable development teams to build applications efficiently without managing the underlying infrastructure. 
• Application Security: Implementing security measures within their applications and managing user access to ensure the overall security of their deployed solutions.
