Job Description

Role Overview

The Associate Director Talent Management will be responsible for end-to-end management, growth, and commercial success of a roster of signed creators . This role focuses on relationship building, brand deal closures, long-term creator positioning, revenue growth, and coordination with internal sales, planning, and campaign teams .

This is not a creator onboarding or acquisition role . The focus is on managing and scaling existing talent portfolios .


Key Responsibilities & KRAs
1. Talent Relationship & Portfolio Management
  • Own and manage a portfolio of mid-to-top tier influencers across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for creators for all brand collaborations, negotiations, and career planning.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with creators to ensure retention, trust, and exclusivity where possible .
  • Understand each creators content style, audience demographics, brand fit, and growth goals.


2. Revenue Growth & Monetization
  • Drive revenue targets for the managed talent roster on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Identify and close brand collaboration opportunities , ensuring maximum earning potential for creators while maintaining brand alignment.
  • Upsell creators for long-term partnerships, retainer deals, exclusives, and IP-based collaborations .
  • Work closely with the Sales / Brand Partnerships team to pitch relevant creators to brands and close deals efficiently.


3. Negotiation & Commercial Ownership
  • Lead commercial negotiations with brands and agencies to secure optimal pricing, deliverables, and timelines for creators.
  • Ensure fair and profitable deals for both creators and the agency while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Oversee contract discussions, exclusivity clauses, usage rights, and payment terms in collaboration with legal/finance teams.
  • Minimize deal drop-offs by proactively resolving negotiation or expectation mismatches.


4. Creator Brand Building & Career Strategy
  • Support creators in positioning themselves as strong personal brands within specific niches (fashion, lifestyle, finance, tech, etc.).
  • Advise creators on content strategy, platform growth, brand-safe practices, and long-term career planning .
  • Identify opportunities beyond standard brand deals such as IP launches, product collaborations, events, and media appearances .
  • Track creator performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase brand appeal and deal value.


5. Internal Stakeholder Coordination
  • Work closely with Campaign Management, Planning & Strategy, and Pricing teams to ensure smooth execution of creator campaigns.
  • Align deliverables, timelines, and expectations between creators and internal teams.
  • Act as a problem solver during campaign execution in case of delays, conflicts, or escalations.
  • Ensure accurate handover of deal details for seamless execution and payment closure.


6. Team Leadership & Process Ownership
  • Mentor and manage Talent Managers / Senior Associates within the talent management team.
  • Set performance benchmarks, review deals, and guide team members on negotiations and creator handling.
  • Help build and refine SOPs for talent communication, deal flow, and creator servicing .
  • Maintain structured reporting on creator revenue, deal pipelines, and portfolio performance.
