Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Finance leader to oversee Accounting, Compliance, and Financial Planning & Analysis for our India and US entities. This role will drive financial governance, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making and business growth.

The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting fundamentals with strategic FP&A expertise, ensuring accurate books, robust internal controls, regulatory compliance, and data-driven profitability management.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Compliance

• Manage end-to-end accounting including GL, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and month-end/year-end closures.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory audits, tax audits, transfer pricing compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA filings, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Ensure financial reporting compliance under Indian GAAP and exposure to US GAAP (preferred).
• Drive automation and process improvements within finance operations.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, executive dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, margins, customer profitability, utilization, and cost structures across business units.
• Partner with delivery and sales teams to improve forecast accuracy and profitability.
• Provide leadership with scenario analysis and data-backed financial insights.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
• Improve reporting efficiency using tools such as Zoho Analytics, Power BI, and Advanced Excel.
• Support long-range financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• CA / CPA (CPA preferred) / CMA
• 1018 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Compliance, and FP&A within the IT industry
• Strong exposure to Transfer Pricing, GST assessments, and statutory audits
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Experience working closely with senior leadership
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong hands-on experience with ZOHO and QuickBooks ERP systems
• Proven team management experience (5+ years)
