Role Summary
The Demand Associate Promoters & Referral is responsible for driving grassroots user acquisition for both People and Goods mobility services. This role focuses on executing on-ground marketing initiatives, managing promoter teams, and scaling referral programs to build a strong top-of-funnel user pipeline. The position requires strong execution skills, team coordination, and the ability to deliver user growth through localized marketing campaigns and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise on-ground promoter teams across assigned city clusters.
- Plan promoter routing, allocate daily targets, and monitor performance metrics.
- Execute Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing activities in high footfall areas such as tech parks, residential communities, transit hubs, and commercial zones.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing activations.
- Implement and manage structured referral programs to drive organic user acquisition.
- Develop and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for referral initiatives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, including installs, sign-ups, and conversion rates.
- Ensure field teams collect market insights, including competitor activity, customer feedback, and location performance.
- Report daily and weekly acquisition metrics to the City Manager Demand & Partnerships.
Key Requirements
- 13 years of experience in field sales, BTL marketing, or ground-team management.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate field-based or blue-collar teams.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the city.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in mobility, logistics, or consumer internet startups.
- Understanding of user acquisition funnels and referral marketing.
- Ability to track and interpret field-level performance metrics.
- Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset.
